The little electric heater was in the broody house in late spring. It kept the chicks plenty warm then. When it got too warm for using it, it got moved to the front porch where it set for a month, forgotten.

Except it wasn’t forgotten…because DG found it and chewed the cord in half! It’s getting cold again, and the downstairs bathroom is mighty cold on these November mornings so Ted decided to fix it.  He bought a brand new cord, and he decided to fix it tonight.

Lucy is his helper. Sort of…she really just wants to steal all the screws.
