This is Friday, my youngest daughter's kitten. She's been staying here since Christmas Eve because she got spayed a few days after that, and I was off to keep watch over her. Naps happen everywhere. She's definitely keeping the house interesting. Bird watching is a favorite pasttime
Ted holding the first chick to hatch for us in 2020 I haven't hatched eggs out since the spring before Gramma Izzie got sick and died (two years ago on April 25th). It was something I did every year that she just dearly loved. Often, I'd have to give state testing to students on hatch … Continue reading EASTER CHICKS!!!
I've figured it out. Luci is the instigator of every dust-up between the cats and dogs in this house. She sits atop the couch or recliner or bookshelf, waiting on Friskee or Puppers (her favorite targets) to pass by, and then she leaps on them like the terror from above. She whacks them of bites … Continue reading Luci is a menace
Friskee spends pretty much every single class I teach and IEP meeting I hold perched on the back of my chair. Every so often, she throws in her two cents with a rumbling "mrroowww". If I put on my webcam, the kids are glued to their computers, but they aren't hearing anything from me - … Continue reading My co-teachers
Pretty ornery that is! Luci(fer) is four years old (she will be five in October). Her Groucho Marx eyebrows slay me. LOL Remember when Ted found her in the field? She's just plotting how she can get Friskee in her next sneak attack. Luci loves all the other animals, but Friskee hates Luci. It's probably … Continue reading Yet another pretty girl
Friskee will be 11 years old in April.
Daisy obviously missed me. She's been on my lap since we got home from Chicago. If I sit down, she's on my lap. If I get up, she keeps me in sight, following me from room to room. When I sit down again, she's back on my lap. I am loved.
I found Friskee draped across the toilet seat when I went in the bathroom. That cat gets into the craziest positions and spots in the house! She meandered up from there like it was a normal everyday spot for her to lay! LOL
"I don't always sit in baskets, but when I do, I choose the most expensive one I can find and squeeze and squeeze until I am really jammed in there. " ~Friskee
Sometimes Ted just wants a good cuddle so he grabs Daisy. Daisy, unfortunately, is not a cuddly cat. She tolerates cuddles though because she's a good cat! She is NOT happy about it though... ...until Ted finds the sweet spot and gives her neck scritches!
