Ted and I were out checking the cleared land again.

   It smells like Christmas over here!

This giant pile of pine trees was pushed into the ravine. It will eventually rot back into the soil, but until then, it will serve as a home for rabbits, birds, and other wildlife.

We kept hearing things rustling around back in the woods while we were walking.

Look at the base of the tree…see it?

Then this little rabbit popped out! It wasn’t afraid of us in the least. It just sat at the base of the tree, eating, and watching us!

There it is!

I’m really enjoying our nightly walks around this new acreage!
