This past Sunday, we set out through the countryside, down winding narrow roads, over bumpy hills, and up a tiny little dirt road to pick up our newest batch of piglets! Jake was impressed that there was a horse...until the stall door opened, spilling out two large horses and a rather tall mule, all of … Continue reading Piggies again!
I had two gallon (80 miles) left when I parked my car last time. It was drained when I got in the next morning! 258.7 miles ÷ 8.31 gallons = 31.13mpg That made my mileage the worst ever!!! The thief drained my gas for the last time. I'm ordering a locking gas cap today!
When I was growing up, my (pronounced mam-maw) Mamma Hazel always had this cabinet in her kitchen. She kept all sorts of things in it. I remember there were cookie jars, and one was always filled with those Keebler Elf fudge stripe cookies. He's a funny guy and has his Dad's wicked sense of humor. He has us rolling with laughter at all family functions. … Continue reading Happy birthday, Teddy!
Digging these out of my little garden box was so much fun! It was like a little surprise every time I dipped in my spade! And these!! And these!!!
My in-laws cleaned out their garden and brought the cattle the cornstalks. The gang loved this yummy treat! Thanks to Billie and Tom for this!

I didn't even think about that when I planted … Continue reading Maybe I messed up
Like mother... Like daughter! Luci and Tucker are the world's best climbers! When I pulled back up the driveway this morning after I let Jake out at school, I looked up to see both of these ladies on the roof of the house!
It took him nearly all day, but he figured it out! I'm so proud of him! He had an audience all day. They're so curious! A little feed kept them away so he could get the fence fixed.
I went to The Rusted Barn today to pick up Jake's dresser. It's supposed to be beautiful weather this weekend, so I thought I could get it painted and get it into his room before his school starts on Monday morning. While I was there, I had to look at all of Tina's new fall … Continue reading I found goodies!
