Even the dogs know..
...spring is just around the corner! Now that the temps are warmer, they love to be on the front porch for hours at a time. The top of the steps marks the coveted spring spot for lounging and napping.

Waste not, want not
I made a roast the day before yesterday and then beef stew with the leftovers yesterday. I meant to put the stew in the fridge for lunch today but forgot. That's okay. Smidge didn't mind, and now she has lunch for the week!

My protector
DG won't let the other dogs near my arm. When they wrestle and play, she parks herself on my right side like a stone. She keeps sniffing my arm and giving me such pitiful looks. How does she know?

Begging in stealth mode
The other dogs are obvious in their begging. Smidge employs the cute factor. Puppers is decidedly attentive yet respectful. Bedtime stories
Jake is staying up past bedtime to read to his plushies and Cooper. He thinks he's pulling one over on me because he's staying up so late. Sometimes letting a kid think like that works in a Mom's favor. He'll read the entire book without any prodding from me...LOL 🙂
