We had gorgeous weather the past two days (Friday and Saturday). We worked and worked outside.  The chickens tried to help in their own way.

I hired a couple of teenage boys to clean the barn, till the big flowerbed, and help me rip out the old weedliner in the front. It’s going to all be flowers now between our sidewalk and the front porch and house. That was possibly the best $20 I ever spent (for their help!).

Ted and Teddy tore out the old flowerbed wooden border today. It took them about three hours to use the farm jack to pull up the metal stakes holding it all together and then clean up the yard, but I can already see the bed taking form, and it will be fabulous!!!

My guys fixed the broken corner post where the goats kept escaping, too. I really love it when they decide it’s a work outside kind of day!!! 🙂
