Easy taquitos recipe

I used this recipe as my jumping off point, and these were delicious!!!

Our Best Bites Creamy Baked Taquitos

Preheat the oven to 425F. 

In a big bowl combine a package of cream cheese, 1/2 jar of Newman’s Own medium salsa, 1/2 a small finely diced onion, @ 4 oz sharp cheddar grated, 1 tsp cumin, 2 tsps chili powder, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, and 1 cooked leftover chicken breast (diced).  Stir well and smoosh it all together.

Pour a little olive oil in a baking dish and spread it around with a napkin. Warm tortillas for a few seconds in the microwave and then put some filling on each one and roll them up. Brush olive oil over the tops (I used a napkin to get all over the tops) and sprinkle them with sea salt and fresh cracked black pepper.  Bake for 15 minutes.

Serve with sour cream and Frog Ranch medium salsa.

Sorry there are no pics – we gobbled them down because they were so delicious!  LOL

This made 10 large taquitos.
