My recuperation buddy
Daisy is beyond thrilled with the fact that I'm laid up. She settles into my lap for the day and nestles down to keep me company. Now if I could just teach her to refill my coffee mug, I'd be all set!

My protector
DG won't let the other dogs near my arm. When they wrestle and play, she parks herself on my right side like a stone. She keeps sniffing my arm and giving me such pitiful looks. How does she know?

Winter water
It's cold enough (-20 this morning on the way to surgery) that the water tanks freeze and stay frozen. Ted bought another tank heater and threw it in the other water tank. The other dogs are obvious in their begging. Smidge employs the cute factor. Puppers is decidedly attentive yet respectful.
