He thinks he's a chicken! When I take treats to the girls, he goes right in and eats alongside them. I didn't notice him in there the other night and locked him in there. Ted let him out the next morning. I bet he slept in a nest box!

Learning to play nice
The flock and Meaner, the big tomcat, have a mutual respect for each other. The two kittens Ted rescued at work and brought home are learning exactly what that means. I figure when they get chased across the yard just a few more times, they'll understand those hens mean business! LOL

Daisy just figured out we're petsitting Janeesa's two cats. She discovered them in the upstairs bathroom. I believe it's safe to say Daisy is angry with me right now. Just look at that face! LOL

...waiting around for mice on top of the chicken run. Evidently we must have a few out there because this has been the cats' hangout spot for the past couple of days! I'm thinking there won't be many mice there for long.
