Put those hens to work!
Four wheelbarrows full of wood chips (the last of the huge pile!) got added to my big compost pile. The hens are having a blast in there churning it up and searching for bugs!

Egg watch 2014
This hen went broody. She is setting on 16 eggs. I know because she got very mean and pecked me almost a month ago (and everyday since if she thinks I am too close). I don't know if all 16 eggs are fertile, but at least one is!!! LOOK! A CHICK IS HATCHING!!!
