I got the Terrible Twosome initially as companion animals for a future dairy goat (which became Bessie when I saw her at the flea market the following spring).  Now that we have Beef, we really don’t need companion goats.  The problem is that I saw how attached Bessie was to the goats when one of the Twosome died…but now I’m also seeing how lonely the remaining goat seems now that she’s without her sister.

I’m torn between getting another little goat or finding a new home for this remaining goat. I really don’t know what to do. I don’t want to upset Bessie but also don’t want the poor little goat to be so sad herself…and another goat just doesn’t make good farm sense at this point in time.

I have a hard decision facing me over the next few weeks.
