Gramma Izzie could grow anything. If she got a start, a root, a flower, or a twig, it grew where she planted it. Unfortunately, that green thumb gene passed me over; my gardening is a hit and miss and do it by the feels type of gardening (it’s worked for the animals so far so why not the plants?).
At IKEA, I bought a little aloe vera plant yesterday. I gave it a big drink when I got home (found out today that’s a no no) and today repotted it in a pot of soil (found out afterward that’s another no no).
Good luck, little guy. You’re gonna need it with me. At least I know not to stick you in direct sunlight anymore, courtesy of The Farmer’s Almanac site!
