Estate auction – woohoo!!!

After dropping the puppy off to meet her new owner, we headed to a local auction. This wasn't the auction we normally attend on Saturday nights. This was a real auction with tons of tools and antiques. Unfortunately, there were no farm items there, and the two items that I was interested in went very … Continue reading Estate auction – woohoo!!!

It was a long week

I love taking pictures around the farm, and I love sharing about it all on this blog. Sometimes, though, there just aren't enough hours in the day to do everything. This past week was one of those times.  I simply packed too much into the week to sit down and blog about it.  I have … Continue reading It was a long week

Busy bees

She was very well-behaved while waiting her turn. The exam room made her nervous. She was not happy about the sedative (shot) but didn't … Continue reading She needed a vet!

Fixing a foot

Somehow, DG cut herself badly tonight while Ted was doing farm chores. I think she did it in the creek, but I'm not positive. It looked like a gouge, but once I got it cleaned, I saw it was a big slash. We're rural so all vet offices close after 12pm on Saturdays.  I didn't … Continue reading Fixing a foot

Supervisor and crew

Look closely: that speck of white between the tractor and cattle is Cooper. No matter what Ted is doing, he has a crew that just stands around, watching him work. Same thing with Cooper, the little supervisor: he loves to hang out and watch.  They make the perfect crew and supervisory team!
