Grow your own ginger

I think this looks very interesting.  There are so many things we can grow from what is normally sent straight to the compost bin or chicken scraps pile:  lettuce, celery, green onions – and then I ran across this tutorial on how to grow your own ginger root right from what you buy at the grocery store!  I have a big jar of ginger roots currently but this is something I will definitely be trying soon!
