This is a recipe I threw together. It was delicious!
Put boneless skinless chicken thighs or breasts in ghe bottom of the crockpot. Sprinkle with sea salt and cracked black pepper to taste. Squeeze the juice of one lemon over the whole thing. Dot with 1/2 a stick of real butter (no substitutes!). Sprinkle with seasoning salt and thyme lightly. Cook on high three hours.
There’s no need to add water. This makes plenty of broth on its own. I saved the broth afterward and froze it for later use.
No pics – we ate it all!!! I served this with sweet potatoes, corn, and caramel rice pudding (also in a slow cooker). Yum!
