Work slowed to virtually none on the coop for a while (a bull jumping the fence will make all attention focus on fixing the fence!).
Amazingly enough, 34 three week old chicks in the bathroom will cause work to accelerate on the new coop again in quick fashion! All that dust in my bathroom is a great motivator.
On Wednesday evening, the door was installed (not easy when the building isn’t square), and hardware wire went up on one window (to deter racoons from slitting the window screen and having a feast). Concrete was poured in a two inch gap where the wall didn’t meet the concrete floor (again – not square causes lots of little needed “fixes”).
Little bites, right? Little bites will slowly eat the elephant……this project turned into a lot more time than I expected!
