Mud. I farm mud.
When the snow melts off, it's just mud; mud everywhere. Ugh. Belle, Bessie, and Tilley just come in here for feed. They hate the mud, too. I think I speak for all of us here when I say that we cannot wait for spring to arrive! DG thoroughly agrees.

I heard a kerfluffle Sunday and turned around to see THIS in my kitchen window. I have no idea what possessed this chicken to fly ten feet off the ground to peer inside at me...but...well...here we are.

Hello there, Friday!
This is Friday, my youngest daughter's kitten. She's been staying here since Christmas Eve because she got spayed a few days after that, and I was off to keep watch over her. Naps happen everywhere. She's definitely keeping the house interesting. Bird watching is a favorite pasttime
