I love the local Facebook auction page! Sometimes I find the best stuff on there. Last week, I found a set of 4′ high by 4′ wide by 1′ deep “garage boxes”.

They are the perfect size for nest boxes in the new coop!  Only two have been divided and are not usable for the hens. The other fourteen are just the right size!

I am in the process of sanding and painting them, and I’m going to sew some cute privacy curtains for the fronts.

For now, Ted used a dolly to get them around back. Everyday, a little more of the new coop becomes a reality!
