Today, a recipe for Apple Cider and Bacon Pork Chops came across my newsfeed on Facebook. I had all the ingredients so decided to give it a try for dinner tonight.

Everything was going well until I realized the kids drank all the cider and didn’t tell me! I improvised with chicken broth, and it was still DELICIOUS!  Use cast iron for sure, and double the recipe because everybody will want seconds.  I also made the Rosemary Fingerling Potatoes mentioned in the recipe (also delicious), and I added brussels sprouts and corn to round out the plate.

The kids and Ted were impressed.  This is definitely a keeper recipe!
