These were washed and frozen on parchment paper on a cookie sheet. I just jiggled the paper to break them apart afterward, and then I measured them into quart size freezer bags, labeled them, and put them in the deep freeze. These will make yummy pie and shortcakes at a later date!
In old days, when you harvest more than you can eat in short time, people use them to make great wine! Freeze the fruit is good for making pie.
